This is a old recipe my mom had the clipping from the tampa tribune and this one is from 1985.
This is a family favorite that we make at the holidays.
2 20-ounce cans dark pitted cherries
1 3 ounce package cherry jello
1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple
1 cup coke
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Heat the cherries and their juice to boiling remove from heat and add jello,stir and add pineapple juice and all.Pour in coke and nuts,then pour into a oiled 6 cup mold,let cool then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
